SMS Notification

When does BSG send out SMS notifications and who receives them?

SMS notifications are sent for the following types of bookings:

  1. Slots - recurring & one-off

  2. Event

  3. Proxy

SMS notifications are sent to the following recipient:

  1. Citizen


Slots Booking SMS Notifications

The following are the 6 default SMS notification templates that are sent to the Citizen when the respective actions are taken - create/update/cancel booking.

Create a booking (by Citizen)

Events SMS Notifications

The following are the 4 default SMS notification templates that are sent to the Citizen when the respective actions are taken - create/update/cancel event booking.

Create an event booking (by Citizen/Admin)

A booking has been made. {serviceName} - {spName}

Status: {status} Date & times: {dateTimeServiceProvider}

Update an event booking (by Admin)

There has been an update to the following booking. {serviceName} - {spName}

Status: {status} Date & times: {dateTimeServiceProvider}

Cancel an event booking (by Citizen)

You have cancelled the following booking. {serviceName} - {spName}

Status: {status} Date & times: {dateTimeServiceProvider}

Cancel an event booking (by Admin/SP)

The following booking has been cancelled by the organiser. {serviceName} - {spName}

Status: {status} Date & times: {dateTimeServiceProvider}


Proxy SMS Notifications

The following are the 4 default SMS notification templates that are sent to the proxy when the respective actions are taken.

When proxy is assigned (or New proxy)

You are appointed as a proxy for: <Service name> - <Service provider name> by <Applicant's name> Date: <Day> Time: <Time>

When there's an update to the time and date of booking (rescheduled)

You are appointed as a proxy for: <Service name> - <Service provider name> by <Applicant's name>

Booking updated. Date: <Day> Time: <Time>

When booking is cancelled

Your appointment as a proxy for: <Service name> - <Service provider name> by <Applicant's name> has been cancelled.

Date: <Day> Time: <Time>

When proxy is deleted/ changed (Send to old proxy)

Your appointment as a proxy for: <Service name> - <Service provider name> by <Applicant's name> has been cancelled.

Date: <Day> Time: <Time>
